Bail Bonds Rates

All bail agencies are required to file their bail bond premium rate with the Department of Insurance. Aladdin Bail Bonds is one of the few bail bond agencies that is authorized to offer an 8% rate in addition to the standard 10%. The 8% rate is given to any client who is actively enrolled in a union, a member of the U.S. military or has retained private counsel for the case.

We charge the following rates on all Bail Bonds:

Standard Premium Rate
Bonds up to and including $499.00 in liability will be charged $50.00
Bonds over $499.00 in liability will be charged 10% of the penal amount

8% Qualified Premium Rate (Idaho Rates differ)
Bonds up to and including $600.00 in liability will be charged $50.00
Bonds over $600.00 in liability will be charged 8% of the penal amount

We are happy to offer the 8% premium rate to customers who meet the following qualifications:

Retained Private Defense Counsel - The attorney must be retained within five (5) days of the bond execution date. A letter from the attorney retained or a copy of the retainer agreement between attorney and client must be received by Aladdin within (30) days of the bond execution date.
Union Members - Must be actively enrolled in a union or receiving disability or retirement benefits from a union and must provide proof to Aladdin within (30) days of the bond execution date. A current pay stub or statement showing payment of union dues within the past (30) days or a letter from the Union stating the member is in good standing is required.
Active or Veteran Members of the Military and their Immediate Family - Co-signers and defendants who are members of the United States Military must provide Aladdin with a current Military ID Card, a signed military declaration from either the military (Form DD214), or a signed declaration from the Service member with service member's ID card. In all cases, proof of Military service must be received within (30) days of the bond execution date.

Bond Fee
In addition to the applicable premium rate, the following bond fees* are applied:

California: $15.00 per bond
Idaho: $35.00 per bond
Washington: $35.00 per bond

* These fees do not include certain rates or fees applied by local or state government agencies, i.e., $25 bond fee payable to the Ada County Sheriff's on every bond posted through their facility. Canyon County $10.00 jail fee on every bond posted after 5 PM, etc.
